    VAVi Sport & Social Club brings together adults who want to have fun in San Diego through a variety of sports leagues, social events, vacations and volunteer opportunities. The participants of VAVi Sport & Social are social and fun-seeking men and women ages 21-40. Anyone over the age of 21 can play in our leagues, but most of our members fall within this category. We've been bringing fun to San Diego since 2002 through our social events and now over 30+ different adult coed sports leagues, fitness & dance classes. We currently run leagues in central San Diego and up in North County. In 2008, VAVi will run over 450 leagues and have 45,000 participants in our sports leagues and classes. VAVi grows at a rate of 200 new members per week. At VAVi our main goal is to bring fun to life in everything we get involved with, whether it be a league, a party, or something new. As a result, we have developed The VAVi Experience, a concept that encourages anybody who is associated with VAVi (referees, customers, partners, ourselves) to create as much fun and excitement as possible at our events within the rules. We therefore challenge you, our customer, in creating innovative ways (e.g. team costumes, crazy signs, etc.) to make any event more fun, thereby bringing The VAVi Experience to life. In the end, we just want everyone to have a great time and in order for that to happen, we need you to be involved.

About Skeeball

Skeeball, commonly found at arcades, was one of the first redemption games. As a redemption game, skeeball players earn tickets that can be traded in for prizes.

Skeeball History

Skeeball was invented in 1909 by J.D. Estes in Philadelphia. The original skeeball lane was 36 ft long. This was found to be too big for most arcades, and restricted the game to very strong players. The lane was then changed to 14 ft. Skeeball was first popularized by the outdoor amusement park industry. At one point restrictions were put on skeeball because it was seen as a form of gambling. However this idea quickly faded. Now skeeball can be found in most arcades throughout America.

Make sure to come to the arcade with enough coins to play several games of skeeball in order to win enough tickets to get a prize.
